A Special Cause

My good friend Sarah is a strong and beautiful wife, mother, and friend. She also has MS. I didn't ever really understand what MS was until I met Sarah. She has educated myself and others about this disease from her personal struggles and the people in her life that share this with her.

I love that she doesn't let this define her. It is an ever-present reality in her life, but she handles it with such grace and strength. I am constantly amazed by the people in my life that carry such burdens in their lives, yet carry on beautifully, not letting their set-backs rule their attitudes or diminish their faith.

Today, I honor her and hope that you will too, as well as all the others that carry this load. For anyone you knew, know, or will know with MS, I would appreciate your support.

I AM alive...

Despite the fact that I basically dropped off the face of the earth according to this blog, I am still alive and well. Just extremely BUSY! I cannot explain the immense weight work has had on my life the last few months. Training newbies, working late nights, special work for my Manager... the gamut. I only hope it all pays off one day.

Enough about the woes of corporate life...

It's almost SPRING people! I get all tingly just thinking about it. I am chomping at the bit to get outside and start again on the yard and garden. Big plans for this Spring/Summer folks... BIG. Please don't hold me to anything though. I say those words with big aspirations, but not sure how many of them will actually get completed this Spring/Summer. Oh, well... some progress is better than none, right?

Listening to one of my new favorite songs right now. Excuse me... I've got to get up and dance around the living room. (I'm home alone at the moment, so I've got to take advantage!)
